Champion Insurance Group is seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler/Broker to join our established broking team.
Champion Insurance Group is an independent regional broking organisation which is part of a wider financial services group with five offices and 120 staff across the Northwest and in Central Manchester.

Working directly under the Directors/Account Executives of the firm, the ideal candidate will take pride in their work and derive great satisfaction in delivering an exceptional high level of service to customers.
The role
- Managing own case load of SME, Property Owners and Mid-Market renewals
- Managing new business and mid-term queries from a range of client types
- Dealing with accounts queries
- Insurer and client negotiations
- Assisting our own claims personal with cover related queries
- Mixed book of clients including construction and property owner portfolios
About You
- At least five years industry experience
- Educated to GSCE standard or above
- Possess ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS office applications
- Will be working towards CII qualifications (or have a desire)
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organisational skills
- Be a proficient communicator
- Ability to manage own case load and work to strict deadlines (in a renewal date driven environment)
