Champion Insurance Group is seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Broker (Account Handler) to join our established broking team.
Champion Insurance Group is an independent regional broking organisation which is part of a wider financial services group with five offices and 120 staff across the Northwest and in Central Manchester.

Working directly under the Directors/Account Executives of the firm, the ideal candidate will take pride in their work and derive great satisfaction in delivering an exceptionally high level of service to customers.
The role
- Managing own case load of SME, Property Owners and Mid-Market renewals
- Managing new business and mid-term queries from a range of client types
- Dealing with accounts queries
- Insurer and client negotiations
- Assisting our own claims personnel with cover related queries
About You
- At least five years industry experience
- Educated to GSCE standard or above
- Possess ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS office applications
- Will be working towards CII qualifications (or have a desire to)
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage own case load and work to strict deadlines (in a renewal date driven environment)
